The Relay For Life was an emotional, sad, exhilarating, cathartic, engaging and contemplative 24 hours.  We showed up at 9am on Saturday and walked in the rain, the dark, the light and the cold…of all the times for the Southern California sun to fail us!  But we walked on and on in a show of support and comfort for those who fought, who are fighting and who will fight Cancer!  We talked about those we loved and lost.  We applauded those who fought and won!  We prayed for those who are fighting.

Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer us on and thanks to the Veterinary Cancer Group for organizing us, keeping us motivated and making sure we had food!

But most of all – thanks to those of you who donated to our cause!    Because of your generosity, I was surprised with an award at the beginning of the Relay for raising the most money for the event!

Thank you for your  donations helping me honoring Misty in a very special way. THANK YOU!
