So… my name is Kathleen, and this is my blog. 🙂

I grew up as a military brat and moved around quite a bit before eventually landing in Texas for high school and college. Along the way there were plenty of adventures—some good, some challenging, all part of the journey.

After that, California became home for many years. In fact, I spent more than 16 years there, which is saying something for someone who rarely stayed in one place for long.

Life took me to Colorado in 2013, but in 2025 I found my way back to Southern California with my husband, Jay, our two dogs, and our cats. These days we’re enjoying life by the water, making new memories, and embracing whatever comes next.

This blog is a collection of thoughts, stories, lessons learned, occasional sarcasm, and whatever else seems worth sharing along the way.
